Fiberglass Insulation

Fiberglass Loose Fill or Blown Insulation

We are proud to use Owens Corning Fiberglass Insulation for our insulation projects that require fiberglass. Owens Corning invented fiberglass insulation and has been the market leader ever since.

Fiberglass insulation is a cost-effective, energy-saving product used primarily to control temperature and sound. Installing fiberglass insulation is one method we use to build an insulation system around a structure.

Fiberglass Loose Fill or Blown Insulation is designed for closed cavity and open blow areas. Closed cavity areas, such as covered attic floors and inside wall spaces, as well as open blow areas like attic spaces require a mechanical blowing tool.

Fiberglass has been a popular choice for insulating homes for years. It consists of plastic filaments fortified with recycled glass spun into fibers. The glass slows the spread of heat, cold, sound and can significantly reduce residential energy costs. Since fiberglass is made up of glass it is also moisture-resistant. It also creates an  environment that can eliminate fungus or mold growth.

When you think of fiberglass insulation you probably think of rolls of pink sheets. Loose fill comes in bags. We use a specially designed machine to install your insulation, which offers several advantages:

  • Allows our installers to blow the loose insulation fibers to the correct depth and density for optimum results
  • It’s the perfect delivery system for attics and other areas with low headroom
  • It’s also great for filling in the gaps and spaces that many attics have
  • Many attics can have irregular joist spacing, or spacing in general. Blown insulation is the best application for this
  • It can also increase the efficiency of existing insulation by settling in the existing gaps.
